London: Collins, 1986. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 8vo. pp. 300; "With 20 colour photos and over 100 photographs and diagrams in black and white". Dust jacket very good, fading to the spine, price clipped. Green buckram boards fine and bright. Contents clean and tight, a few marks to fore-edge and top of text block, no inscriptions. A very good copy. (Bibliographical note: this is the genuine Collins first edition with "Collins" printed to the base of the dust jacket spine - there was also a bookclub edition which is identical but without "Collins" to the base of the spine.) [Collecting the New Naturalists NN73A].
