'Revised and Improved from the Third Edition'. Paper over boards backed with leather; no titles on covers or spine. Covers are scuffed with old soiling/stains; some rubbing wear at fore corners; leather is partially cracked at spine joints with chipping at spine ends; somewhat fragile at hinges but text block remains tightly bound; owner names and stamp on front end papers; interior clean with occasional foxing; one interior leaf with lower fore corner off but all text present. Apparent connection with author's family as name stamp on front paste down is 'George Lincoln Goodale' and copyright page is signed Ezekiel Goodale. 16mo (16 cm), 178 pp; illustrated.
