London (24, Brook Street, Grosvenor Square): Franz Thimm, 1876. 6th Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. vi, 216pp plus publisher's catalogue at rear. In blue cloth-covered boards, blind stamped motif on front, gilt titles on spine (cloth is a little worn, rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, slightly sunned spine). Text block edges a little flecked and hint of toning on endpapers, slightly strained on endpaper gutters. 12mo. A nice, vintage volume setting out a rational system for language learning.
