Original cloth with very slight edgewear and a bright gilt title on the spine. Dust jacket is NOT price clipped, has a bit of edgewear and no tears. A tour de force of the realities of Africa at the time of gaining Independence, 1959-1961. It is a fine perspective on expectations, and disillusionments , read 60 years later. .
