About This Item
Original 1920 staple bound pamphlet as pictured. Ex-library with typical markings. This is a monograph addressing the future of Haudenosaunee culture as seen from an early 20th century perspective. Written by Arthur C. Parker, whose paternal grandfather and uncle were influential Seneca elders. It seems to lean toward gradual integration into Euro-centric American culture and is interesting primarily as a historical document. Binding is intact apart from frontispiece which is lifting away. Covers are rubbed with curled corners, text is unmarked. Includes several b&w photographs. Your purchase helps support our small village library. s (O-B2)
