VG, laminate over spine is lifting but intact, binding tight and clean, light edge wear, preliminary pages moderately spotted with very fine pin-point spots but not affecting any of the photographs. Photos of by renowned Dutch photographer Kees Scherer, who was one of the Netherlands' most popular and respected photographers. This distinctive photobook looks at early 1960s New York City with European eyes and fully conveys Scherer's fascination with the dynamics of light. With text in English by Dutch journalist Max Tak, featuring 121 captioned b/w photographs. Preceded by a 1960 Dutch edition.. First Edition. Soft Cover. Very Good.
