From the National Book Award winning author of 'Subtle Is the Lord, The Science and The Life of Albert Einstein', Pais traces the life of Neils Bohr. From his early life in Denmark, to his role in world politics and the development of atomic weapons, as well as his relationships with Einstein, Ernest Rutherford, and his family life. 565 pages with Index and a section of photos, 6-1/2" X 9-1/2". The dust jacket is intact and has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Very sturdy black cloth covered boards, with the title and author name in gold on the spine. Boards are flat, the corners are not bumped or worn. Sewn binding is tight and square. Edges of the text block are clean. This is not a remainder copy, not a library discard copy. The attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory.
