About This Item

N.p.: N.p., 1946. Collection of six vintage borderless reference photographs from the UK release of the 1946 film, all six showing actor Groucho Marx. London photograph agency stamps, Picture Surveys stamps crediting photographer Fred Bonnard, and cropping annotations in manuscript pencil on the versos.

An escaped Nazi war criminal wants to reclaim the stolen valuables he has stashed in a Casablanca hotel, and has steadily murdered the hotel's managers to maintain control of the property. The newest manager, however, is Groucho Marx as Ronald Kornblow, a blissfully unaware womanizer who continually escapes the Nazi's grasp with the help of his self-appointed bodyguards (Harpo and Chico Marx). The fourteenth Marx Brothers film, and the seventh Marx Brothers film after the departure of Zeppo Marx.

Set in Casablanca, Morocco.

7.5 x 9.5 inches. Very Good plus, lightly curled and edgeworn.
