New York: A. S. Barnes and Company, 1852. Book. Poor. Full-Leather. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Brown leather binding. Gold gilt on the page edging. The pages are in good condition with some scattered soil spotting and a very few pencil notations. There is a name label on the front end paper. The cover has scuffing and heavy corner tip wear. The back cover is detached and the front cover is only hanging on by a few threads. Most of the spine is missing. 516 pages. Includes a memoir of the author, a critical view of his writings, and explanatory notes by James Robert Boyd. .
