About This Item
London: Rapp & Whiting Ltd, 1970. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. First UK edition first printing. Hardback book is tight clean and square. Boards sharp and clean, title gilt perfect. The FEPs have feint offset tape marks. Text block clean, with very light toning to edges. Pages are unblemished. Feels lightly read. Sharp spine ends. Fine condition. The jacket is glossy and has very bold colours to the front panel, which has a few very small rubs. At some point there must have been a taped protector as there is historic tape residue to the top and bottom edges of the jacket, going on to the flaps. The red of the spine title is moderately sunned. The tape residue is more prominent to the rear white panel that is otherwise clean. A near fine book in a very good jacket. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a quality addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A clean and well bound copy of this classic Asimov collection, the titles of which are shown on the rear panel. Uncommon Rapp & Whiting edition for the collector's shelves.
