The publisher's note that they are releasing this special edition (First, thus) in light of the recent movie about the dancer & the sale of his unexpurgated diaries by Sothebys in London. This edition offers facsimile editions of both the original books, with vintage black-and-white photos throughout the 260 pages of text. Hardcover book has light blue paper over boards with a light tan quarter cloth-covered spine with gilt lettering. Condition is Fine: looks, feels, & smells just about Brand New! Completely clean, binding straight & strong, pages white. The unclipped DJ is Near Fine, with just a slightly faded spine. .
