Very Good in Very Good dust jacket; DJ is worn at edges. ; In 1980, John and Elizabeth Fuller went to Mount Everest in the Himalayas for a forty-day trek. One of their escorts was 18 year old junior Sherpa guide named Nima. They brought him to the US for six months to recover from tuberculosis. During his time here he became Americanized and imparted elements of his Buddhist wisdom to the Fullers and their friends. He returned to Nepal with the skills to build a teahouse, improved English, and a first aid course to help in his work as a mountain guide. ; B&W Photographs; 199 pages .
