Privately Printed, 1991. Hardcover. Like New. 0x0x0. Detailed photographic history of Noble County, Ohio. Densely illustrated with hundreds of historical photographs. Includes views of streets, residences, businesses, churches, coal mining and logging operations and much more. Accompanied by historical text for each township of Noble County and numerous photo annotations. Of special note is a grouping of photos taken in 1925 at the crash scene of the USS Shenandoah, most never before published. The Shenandoah was the first rigid airship (or blimp) to use helium as a fuel. Scarce. 228 pp. 11 1/4" x 8 1/2". Tight, immaculate copy. Extremities crisp. Unmarked front to back.
