About This Item

Florissant, Missouri: Liberty Bell Press, 1964. First Mass Market Paperback Edition . Soft cover. VG-/G+. A right-wing screed from the chairman of the Missouri Federation of Young Republicans, inflaming the battle against what many extremists in the party continue to see as rampant, creeping communism & the "communist-socialist conspiracy to enslave America." He dissects the failures of presidential administrations from Roosevelt through Johnson, arguing that they have conditioned the American people to "retreat in the face of the communist enemy,'' which he claims continues to infiltrate American schools, churches, schools, the press, the film industry, & other institutions. Originally published in Feb. 1964, this is the Sixth Printing from June of that same year. 254 pp with Index, + order form for additional copies in rear. Condition is G+/VG-: very clean & completely unmarked internally, with moderate page tanning, heavy around edges & inside both covers. The colorful red/white/black wrappers show light soil & edgewear, very shallow spine crease. Nicely protected in new mylar collector bag free! Our photos depict the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have on hand! Same Day Shipping on all orders received by 2 pm Weekdays (Pacific); later orders, Weekends & holidays ship very next business day.
