1890 owner's name in pencil on front free endpaper.
This is an early American edition collecting two of Ibsen's plays. The title page states that it is the "only authorized American edition of this translation." Curiously, the translator Henrietta Frances Lord, was not only an Ibsen scholar but author of one of the first and most well known books on Christian Science healing.
