About This Item
Guideposts Edition. Ex-Church Library Book has usual marking, stamps, stickers, writing, card holder. DJ has slight bumping, tears, on the top, tail of the spine, edges, and corners. Outer edges might have tanning, browning, stains and foxing. The front, back cover does have foxing on it. Norma Zimmer, best known from her many years on The Lawrence Welk Show as the "Champagne Lady" gives a very moving and sometimes very personal account of her life in this book. She tells of her early childhood, which was marked by severe poverty (even severe for The Great Depression), a father who struggled with alcohol abuse and low self-esteem, and her mother who found faith in Christ and endured to build a better life for them all. A19.
