Northampton: Northamptonshire Record Society, 1996 First edition. HB. Green cloth with gilt titles to spine on red panel, and pictorial dustjacket. 221pp, large landscape format. Reproduces in b&w the complete wash drawings (over 260) made by Peter Tillemans in the 1720s for a projected county history of Northamptonshire; also with a few other illustrations. Detailed texts on the ilustrations and introduction by local historian Bruce Bailey. Fine in Very Good protected jacket. Light yellowing to closed eges and margins. Jacket has large creases to back, (now in protective clear sleeve).
