About This Item
New York: Harper & Brother, 1857. 435pp., including folding map and many illustrations. Frontis. Publisher's red blindstamped cloth, spine gilt. Light wear to extremities, minor soiling to boards, corners bumped, light tanning and occasional foxing throughout. Near fine. The author resided in Washington Territory (actually both Oregon and Washington) during 1853-55. According to Decker, he was a "secret agent for the Northern Pacific Railroad."
