Toronto: Macmillan. Very Good in Good dust jacket. 1954. First Edition Later Printing. Hardcover. 176 p. 21 cm. Sound and square binding in brown cloth-covered boards. Corners have light wear. Text block edges are dusty. Sticker remains on front free endpaper. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has heavy wear to the edges and corners, with chips, tears and holes. Spine is faded. Rear panel shows soil. Not price clipped. Number 4 of the publisher's "Great Stories of Canada" series, which tells of the North West Company and it's rivalry with the Hudson's Bay Company in the fur trading industry.
