Light blue cloth very slightly browned at front right, dark red lettering on spine, ink note at top of first front end paper, 128 stiff heavy lightly browned pages. Fox was killed in the Spanish Civil War. Pencil note at top of dust jacket. DJ heavy paper with red background and lightly browned white line designs, preface by Howard Fast with praise from him on front, spine very slightly browned, back very slightly browned at edges with list of books, small red advertisement for War Bonds. DJ has tiny tears with very slight wear at top front tip, microtear at bottom front edge, two micronicks at top front edge, 3/8" tear at spine top left onto spine middle, micronicks at spine bottom edge, microtear with tiny crease at top back edge. Fair DJ/Fine book.
