Burgundy cloth hardcover, gilt stamping on front and spine, is fresh and unworn. Binding and hinges firm, intact and straight. Acetate jacket has short closed tear at top of front flap fold. Slipcase clean, light wear to pictorial pastedowns on both front and rear boards. "Rugantino" was a popular musical comedy written by Pietro Garinei, Sandro Giovannini, Pasquale Festa Campanile and Massimo Franciosa. The renowned Italian screenwriter Luigi Magni was the artistic director. The music was composed by Armando Trovajoli, sets and costumes were by Giulio Coltellacci.
