All volumes with coloured frontispiece, each of the major novels also with 5 coloured plates, Volume XI [juvenilia] with 3 sepia plates, and Volume XII [letters] with 1 sepia plate and a double page facsimile letter, all the plates with lettered tissue guards, all volumes with black & white title page vignette, all title pages printed in red & black, brief bibliography and facsimile of the first edition title page of Sense and Sensibility in Volume I, appendices Volume XII; uniform brown cloth, printed paper title label on spines, the labels a trifle soiled and worn, cloth occasionally faintly marked or rubbed; t.e.g., others uncut and largely unopened; a couple of leaves carelessly opened, faint water stain to top edge of last few leaves Volume I, the lower free endpaper creased Volume V, hinge tender towards centre of final volume, occasional very slight soiling; Frank S.
