The Dropmore Press, London., 1947. First edition. Quarto. A 66-page study, the fourth in the series of Dropmore Essays. One of 550 numbered copies. Blue cloth, inner dentelles gilt, with gilt device on upper cover.Head and tail of spine and two corners slightly bumped. Near fine in very good dustwrapper darkened and nicked at the spine and a little rubbed at edge. Preserved in the card slipcase which, as so often, is missing the backstrip and rubbed at the edges.
