Unknown Binding. Very Good. Very good blue buckram over boards hardcover in good, edgeworn pictorial dustjacket, unclipped. Pictorial endpapers small (less than 1") rips at crown/spine No reader, remainder, or ex-library marks . Clean. Gilt lettering at spine, color illustrated endpapers & great line drawings by L L Brooke printed on good quality paper. Originally published in 1898 by Fredrick Warne, this book has 332 nursery rhymes arranged in groups such as Historical, Proverbs, Riddles & Paradoxes, Games, Love & Matrimony, and Natural History among others, 288 pp with notes and index of first lines. This edition printed in Yugoslavia. Illustrated by L Leslie Brooke.
