Collection of sketches by noted Slovak artist Janko Alexy portraying scenes in Slovakia, once part of Czechoslovakia. Title in Slovak, captions in Slovak and French, no other text. Softcover printed in black and blue, oblong, about 7.25" x 10.75", title page plus 24 black and white plates printed on one side only, all on thick cream-colored paper. Covers soiled with much edgewear and chipping to the lower two inches of the spine, binding sound, pages clean, no names or other markings.. First Edition. Soft Cover. Good. Oblong 8vo.
