Alfred A. Knopf, 1932. First Edition. hardcover. Very Good. 7x5x1. Handsome first edition. Bound in publisher's cloth. Hardcover and dust jacket. Good binding and cover. Clean, unmarked pages. Dust jacket in protective mylar cover. Chip missing from tail of dj spine. The publisher printed the dust jackets with a $2.50 price, but later decided to sell the book for $2. So all first editions copies are price clipped, as is this. <br> "Indeed, she ceased to be an individual, an old woman with aching feet; she became part of a group, became a relationship.
