This is the first translation into French of Eyles Irwin's "An Enquiry into the Feasibility of the Supposed Expedition of Buonaparte to the East," published in 1798. Translated from the English by "Andre." . Expertly refurbished, some pencil notations on blank verso of final page of text, none affecting text, some minor foxing. No maps.
