White or Silver Bream Illustration to jacket. First Edition 1941. Print code 378.341 with Airplanes and Dogs listed under a printed line below Grasses Sedges and Rushes indicating - in preparation but as Grasses Sedges and Rushes was published in1942 (Marren and Carter) the copy offered has to be a later printing. High No to flap fold Grasses. Please see our images of the actual book offered for sale for further details and condition. Good/ Fair (Book- fading to boards at extremities and spine, a few dusting spots to top edge and hint of foxing spots to other edges of book block. No previous owner name or insc. Dust Jacket - moderate to heavy rubbing and soiling with a little loss - max 10 x 7 mm to tail at fold to rear panel. Price clipped with standard book price label affixed with price partially scratched off. NB rear panel and rear flap folds separated by longitudinal tears. The jacket is accordingly secured by a removable proprietary protective sleeve and four small pieces of magic tape to reverse to avoid movement whilst it was fitted.No other notable defects to book or jacket).
