It focuses on California's landscapes with written text about the area of the paintings. Large full color plates, the preface was written by state historian Kevin Starr. It is a chronicle of this great states history as seen through its artists from its beginnings. Paintings were chosen by Paul Mills. Many interesting tales and anecdotes. List of Artists, illustrations, bibliography, index, 271 pages. This book is large and heavy not suitable for international shipping.
