It was published under many different names from 1905 to 1951. Pearce and many other 20th century spiriutualists and occultists. Compiled serial journal, reviews, correspondence, and editorials. Ralph Shirley (1865-1946) was a British pioneer in the publication of occult and mystical literature. He was born at Oxford, England, December 30, 1865, of aristocratic stock, brother of the eleventh Earl Ferrers and a direct descendant of Robert Devereux, Earl of Essex and educated at Winchester and New College, Oxford University. January 1905 was vol.1, no.1, premier issue and ran for several years. Formerly owned by Alfred Pearce, noted 19th century astrologer.
