About This Item
New York: New American Library, 1966. First American Edition, First Printing. Signed by actress Maud Adams with a terrific sexy quotation from her dialogue in the James Bond film, Octopussy, where she played the title role, Inscribed: “You are James Bond. 007. Licensed to kill. Am I to be your target for tonight. ‘Octopussy’ - Maud Adams.” Laid in are two excellent and attractive original color photographs of Maud Adams signing the book and displaying it. Fine in a very good lightly rubbed dust jacket with a few very tiny nicks.
Synopsis
Octopussy and The Living Daylights (sometimes published as Octopussy) is the fourteenth and final James Bond book written by Ian Fleming. It is a collection of short stories published posthumously in the United Kingdom and the United States by Glidrose Productions, in 1966, as a postscript to his James Bond canon. It originally contained "Octopussy" and "The Living Daylights". More recent editions also include "The Property of a Lady" – added in 1967 and "007 in New York" – added in 2002.
