A deluxe edition offering three poems by the English poet Algernon Charles Swinburne (1837-1909) which were discovered after his death. One of a limited edition of 479 unnumbered copies, published for members of the Bibliophile Society. With prefaces by Edmund Gosse. Also includes Swinburne's "Memorial Verses on the Death of Richard Burton", along with tipped-in folded facsimile manuscript of same. --- In full brown cloth-covered boards backed in vellum, with gilt-stamped spine titling. Top edge gilt, remaining textblock edges deckled. --- A very nice copy: clean, and bright but with a little soiling to spine and minor edgewear. Some pages unopened.; Tall Octavo (9 to 10 in. tall); 77 pages .
