About This Item
Chicago: A. C. McClurg & Co, 1890. First edition. First edition. Superbly bound by The Knicekerbocker Press (with their gilt pallet rear dentelle) in full blue-green crushed morocco with delicate and widespread wavy leaf and vine pattern on both covers and spine, gilt dentelles, marbled endsheets. A very pleasing binding by a noted binder in New York in the early 1900's. Spine evenly sunned, though slightly, else near fine.
