Dublin: William Curry, Jun. and Company, 1845. xiiii, 410pp, [2]. With half-title and 26 engraved plates. Contemporary half-calf, marbled boards, gilt. Rubbed, slight shipping to lettering-piece. Marbled endpapers, offsetting from foxed plates, slight marginal loss and short tear to one plate. First published in monthly parts, priced at a shilling, this is the first appearance in book form of the Dublin printed novel from Irish writer Charles Lever (1806-1872). . First edition. 8vo.
