Hardcover. ; Volume VI only of a 9 volume set of both Iliad & Odyssey The set consisted of 5 volumes of The Iliad and 4 volumes being The Odyssey. Tan calf leather bound cover with gilt spine and mottled boards is worn at the extremities with tiny chip to headcap but in good+ condition. Boards and spine are straight. Binding is tight. Antiquated book plate affixed to front paste down belonging to J. W. (John Wedderburn) Dunbar Moodie [1797-1869], a Scottish born Canadian Army officer. Pages are lightly toned with modest foxing but in very good condition. .
