Complete seven volume set, uniformly bound in contemporary half burgundy morocco over marbled paper-covered boards. Five raised bands to spines, with gilt titling to compartments two and four. Marbled endpapers. Top edges gilt. A handsome set with light wear to leather. All volumes firmly bound. Title page and frontispiece in Vol. IV just starting to pull away at the top but no other structural issues. Eleven engraved plates in total by Dalannoy and Massard after G. Staal, 3 missing tissue-guards. Généalogie de Moliére in Vol. VII. Age-toning and spotting to page edges. Some scattered foxing and browning to contents with worst affected being front and back matter. No bookplates, inscriptions or other markings, and plates all clean. Vols I-IV published in 1863, V-VII in 1864. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Additional photographs available on request or they can be viewed in my listing. Heavy Set.
