Red cloth leatherette covered boards with patterned embossing on cover and gilt lettering and decorations with four raised bands along spine. Cover slightly soiled. Binding and hinges tight and square; contents clean and unmarked with light foxing on first few pages. Pages slightly wrinkled throughout. Silk endpapers. Ribbon. Three gilt edges. 636 pp. featuring 20 colored copper plates, including frontispiece, all with tissue guard. Text in French. Rare. Other matching volumes available. All items carefully packed to avoid damage from moisture and rough handling.
