About This Item
Alfred Mame et Fils. Acceptable. In French and Latin, in parallel columns. 1871 Alfred Mame et Fils (Tours, France), 3 5/8 x 6 inches tall embossed leather hardbound, all page edges gilt, 732 pp. Covers heavily rubbed, soiled and edgeworn, with the leather peeling along the lower edge. Front prelims, up to the title page, lacking, with the front board and pastedown held only by the leather, though the binding is otherwise solid. Otherwise, apart from extremely light instances of foxing, a very good copy - clean and unmarked - of this scarce volume. No copies were located worldwide by OCLC. Includes the offices for the fortnight before Easter, in accordance with the 1871 breviary and missal.
