Cincinnati: The Ohio Valley Pub. & Mfg. Co, 1888. First Edition. Half Leather. Very Good binding. Volume VI only of the Ohio Official Roster of Soldiers. From the library of Bud Robertson, with his bookplate on the front pastedown. "Another full, descriptive roster, yet one--like many--that could have benefitted from larger type" (Nevins II, 159). Inscribed on the verso of the front endpaper to a Charles Kimmel of the 66th Illinois, signed by Senator Samuel E. Kemp of the 66th Ohio General Assembly, dated June 30, 1888. Half black morocco over black pebbled cloth. Lettering and rules stamped in gilt in compartments on the spine. Spot of surface loss to the front board. A Very Good copy. (Nevins II, 159). Very Good binding.
