Vienna: Joannis Thomae Trattner, 1759. Corners lightly rubbed, about fine, contents pristine. Small 8vo. 538p. printed throughout in red and black. Bound in full period calf with pattern paper end sheets, text block edges stained red, the spine with title label gilt and with elaborate gilt decoration, with elaborate silver heart and flowers catches and matching clasp. Johann Thomas von Trattner (1717-1798) was a famous printer, publisher, and mapmaker. An excellent example of his typography and an excellent period binding.
