London: Chapman & Hall. Bound in redcloth with gilt titles tospine, this dated 1934 hardcover First Edition is Vg. Signed and inscribed by author to FFEP, "To Teddy and Hetty with fondest love. Phil, Aug. 1934". 293pp with 18 Chapters, Four illustrations and Index. The writer has involved himself with establishing an American funding stream for Charing Cross Hospital. His photo portrait appears as a Frontis. Small stain to front board, minor wear to coners, slight lean to text-block but binding sound and generally VG . Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 1934.
