About This Item
Frankfort, KY: Old Crow Distillery Co., 1930. Softcover. Very good. Presumed first edition, n. d. (1930s - tentative date obtained from a University of Michigan library record of the same publication); approx. 3 1/2 x 6; pp. [20]; illustrated wraps die-cut into the shape of a crow, holding a scroll in its beak; a small nick and a minor crease line to the shoe of the crow on back wrap; overall in very good condition. An interesting booklet, it featured authentic cocktail recipes with "Old Crow" bourbon. The trademark alcohol was created and perfected by Scottish Chemist James C. Crow, known as the father of bourbon for inventing the sour mash process now used by most bourbon distilleries.
