Chapman & Hall, 1937. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1937. First GB edition. 424 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth. Includes photographic plates. Upper text block edge red. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Pencil inscriptions to front pastedown. Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book. Text block edges moderately foxed. Boards have some edge wear, with slight bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are crushed and frayed. Rather scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Spine is noticeably sunned and creased. Book has a slight forward lean.
