London: Frederick Warne and Co 0 Classic Fairy Tales collected and Edited by Mrs Valentine. Undated Edition, late 19th century. Illustrated with Colour and B&W Plates Throughout. Frontis has a Colour Illustration of Sleeping Beauty. Brown cloth cover decorated with Gilt and Black pictures of a Cherub, Frog and gilt & black lettering on front. Spine has black title on a gilt ground and gilt picture of a Fairy riding a Bat. Beveled Edges. Decorative Endpapers. 7 3/4" Tall. Slight wear to cover, mainly at corners and spine ends, some rubbing and a little patchy loss of colour (see photo). Hinges sound. Pages in very good, clean condition. Small inscription on top corner of endpaper. Size: 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Decorative Cloth. Near Very Good. Book.
