Some foxing to the fore-edge otherwise a bright and attractive VG+ copy. In the VERY RARE D/W priced 9s net to the spine (as called for). The VG D/W is browned to the spine and has a chip at the top right hand corner of the spine removing the TE of PRIVATE. Uncommon in D/W. The author's third book, preceded only by THE FORBIDDEN TERRITORY and SUCH POWER IS DANGEROUS. Inscribed by the Author on the title page: For/ My good friend/ Y S Gee/ With every good wish that he/ may live long enough to enjoy his/ retirement/ from Dennis Wheatley
