In the publisher's dust jacket, $6.95 retail price on front flap, faint sunning and rubbing to spine, light shelf wear, a near fine example. Signed by the author on the title page in green ink. Albert Murray (1916-2013) was an American music and literary critic, biographer and essayist. His notable works include this book, The Omni-Americans, South to a Very Old Place and Stomping the Blues. Walker Percy said The Omni-Americans "may be the most important book on black-white relationships in the United States, indeed on American culture, published in this generation." (Washington Post, 2013).
