Fine Hardcover in Good Dust Jacket. Signed by author, "Frank Hawks wishes you ' Tail Winds and 3-Pointers!'" on glue paper plate attached to ffep. Prior owner gift inscription on inside front cover. Light age toning to leaves. Old newspapers clippings (included with book purchase) about author's flying exploits as well as his 1938 death in an aircraft crash have added a little more toning to two pages but they are still clearly readable. Cloth with embossed red-orange lettering over boards. Minor age toning, edge wear, spine ends are mushed. DJ has open and closed tears along the edges and spine, scuffing, chipping, interior has stain of unknown cause along spine, but is intact and serviceable. No other markings noted on page flip. 144 pp. Well illustrated with B&W photographs from the early age of aviation and its historical aviators. No unpleasant odors detected.
