1919. CONRAD, Joseph. ONE DAY MORE. (London: Beaumont Press, 1919). Limited edition; from an edition of 274, this is one of 250 copies printed on handmade paper. 48 pp. 8vo., tan cloth spine with printed paper label, paper covered boards, printed with a pattern design by Michel Sevier, and a printed paper label. Pencil ownership to ffep. Moderate paste-action to endpapers, but internally clean and fresh. The volume is sunned at perimeters and spine, with rubbing to label. The decorative paper is chipped at fore-corners, with a dampstain to bottom fore-corner of upper board. Good. A dramatization of the short story "To-Morrrow" from Typhoon; this is the first published edition (25 copies were privately printed in 1917) and the sixth book of the press. (Keating 51).
