Inscription reads, 'Best wishes -----/Peter S'. 128pp. Illustrated with photographs, line-drawings and maps. The account of an ordinary soldier, Kenneth Sampson of the 1st Battalion, Oxfordshire and Buckingham Light Infantry, told by his son, Peter. When he did not return after the Second World War, he was assumed to have died. In fact Kenneth was a vagrant and his mental state precluded him from taking regular employnent.
