A very clean copy throughout. John Reed (1887-1920) was an American journalist, poet, and Communist activist. He gained prominence as a war correspondent durin World War 1, and is best known for his coverage of the October Revolution in Russia, about which his book "Ten Days That Shook The World" was written. He became a hero of the generation of radical intellectuals. He died at age 33 in Moscow of spotted typhus. Unpaginated.. First Edition. Black and Red Cloth. Light Edge Wear/No Dust Jacket.
